The Center for Multimodal Solutions for Congestion Mitigation (CMS) is a U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) Tier 1 University Transportation Center (UTC) grantee, that works with the transportation community to investigate and develop innovative approaches to solving congestion problems. The CMS supports research in recurrent congestion, non-recurrent congestion, multimodal strategies and demand modeling.
The center is funded by a grant from the Research and Innovative Technology Administration (RITA) of the USDOT,
